We offer a wide range of courses,
such as Kinesiology, Anotomy, Reading in the Content Area, English 1, 2, 3, & 4, Sports Journalism, Psychology,
and in major sporting areas. Up on completion of these coures, each individual is well rounded.
The Certificate programme entails four (4) semesters which is accredited
by G.C. Foster College. Up on completion graduates are certified by the Ministry of Education to work
as specialist one (1) teachers in both Primary and Secondary schools.
The Diploma Programme which is accredited by the Joint Board Of Teacher
Education, covers six semisters for secondary specialist two (2) teachers.
The Bachelor of Physical Education programme which last for one (1) year; two (2)
semesters and six (6) weeks of summer. The Pre-degree programme is for persons who have not pursued a G.C. Foster
specialist programme, covers two (2) semesters. Up on completion of this course, qualified students will move on to
pursue the Bachelors of Degree which is accredited by the University Council of Jamaica.

- 2 CXC or GCE O’Level subjects and an outstanding athlethic aptitude for a sport e.g. representing school/club
at inter-school, national and/or international level.

TEACHERS DIPLOMA IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION

- Four Passes at CXC or GCE O’Level subject (including English Language) or its equivalent.

N.B. SSC Subjects (Ranges 4 and 5 passess are also accepted)
BACHELOR OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Entry Requirements:
- G.C. Foster College Diploma or its equivalent with a minimum of a C+
average.
